HyperImage consists of the HyperImage Authoring System and the HyperImage Reader.
Work on the material (capturing digital objects, adding layers, linking, editing metadata, compiling annotations, etc.) is carried out in the HyperImage Editor, the frontend of the authoring system.
Working results created in the HyperImage Editor are converted into a suitable form for online/offline publication using the HyperImage Reader.
